It’s finally here!
Parks in Focus is getting ready for an action packed summer, starting with a five day trip to northern Arizona, June 4-8, with participants from three of Tucson’s Boys & Girls Clubs. We will be camping in Oak Creek Canyon and traveling to places like Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Tuzigoot National Monument, and Dead Horse Ranch State Park. Kids will slide at Slide Rock State Park, photograph the red rock mesas and hoodoos, and soak up the natural and cultural history of the area from guest park rangers and educators.
We will live tweet throughout the trip and update the Parks in Focus Twitter, Facebook, and Blog accounts throughout the summer, so please stay tuned! Get excited! It’s going to be an awesome summer!
