Celebrating the Legacy of Ansel Adams

This week, Parks in Focus hosted a photo exhibit at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite National Park. Approximately two dozen photos, taken by 2010 & 2011 participants from the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, were on display to gallery and park visitors over the busy holiday weekend. Parks in Focus and NPS staff (from left to right: Alex, Bret, Jesus, Shauna, Dan, Chris, Andres, Jessica and Tyler) were on hand to answer visitor questions about the exhibit and the program. To see highlights from our California program, check out our flickr page.

Later this month, the photos will travel to another site within the park: the Bassett Memorial Library in Wawona.

The exhibit was made possible by Youth in Yosemite, the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, and the Ansel Adams Gallery.
